Among the very best barrels on the market, no doubt about it. My only gripe is the 681 bore no longer seems to be available for the next kit I purchase!

I’ve owned the EigenBarrel v4 for a little over a year. I used it primarily on an Emek I’ve been using to goof around at open play. I highly recommend it for similar markers. The backs have a long control bore, and the three sizes are really all you need. I’ve stopped carrying my carbon fiber barrel with stainless steel inserts, because this is simpler and does the job.
The dust black finish is slightly coarse, but I believe that’s contributed to this barrel’s durability. I’ve definitely banged the barrel tip on hard bunkers and come away expecting anodizing damage, but the barrel looks as new as the day it came in the mail.
It’s also quiet, accurate, and consistent.

Been using EigenBarrels for about 2 years now, and loving it. Started with the V3, and now with a full V4 kit (1+ yrs), which is my primary and go-to barrel on my CS1. I love the features: 9″ control bore, 15″ overall length, the “satin/dust finish”, the unique porting, and even the case is a nice touch. IMO, it’s true to bore size, quiet, very accurate and durable. I’ve shot 1-star all the way to 5-star paint through it, and no problems whatsoever. The 3 control bore sizes is more than enough for my needs in a full day of playing.
At first I was a little skeptical about the coarse satin/dust finish exterior and the smooth dust finish (not so polished) interior, because all other barrels the interior is very polished and shiny. But after talking with Lurker Ryan, he assured me and walked me through why the EigenBarrel is like that. I haven’t looked back and have no reason to doubt Lurker, esp their customer service, let alone their products! I now own 2 full kits and single V3s for all my high end to low end marker setups! Although I am very happy to have my v4 kits in satin, I would like to see the V4 kit offered in a gloss finish.
For the price for what you are getting in this barrel kit, I highly recommend it, and you won’t be disappointed.
